Wormholes?
« on: November 23, 2010, 20:40:01 »
Is there a way of adding wormholes/gates to a mission?

IIRC, not 'wormholes' as you see them in the campaign (blue flowing line), but I seem to recall that the alien kit mod had a wormhole in it (a shiny point).

Oh I meant the ones in the campaign. Why can't we add them to our missions? q.q

Are they hardcoded?

Also... what alien kit?

Uhm... if you don't mind me asking, what would you want wormholes for?

To add some wormholey fun to a mission!

Seriously though, I wanted to kinda recreate the fight for earth mission D: You know the wormhole that kept pooping fleets after fleets @-@ I considered using the Pipes as well but dunnu /:

Also since I don't want to make a new thread, are there advanced modding tutorials? Like making new ship classes, weapons, devices and all of that.

Did you read my question? There's nothing about weapon/ship modding there.

Oh, sorry.
Well, the little you need to know about that is this:
All the weapons, ships, and other devices are located in this file:

..universetacticstypestacticstypes.ini

And all you need to know about that file is located here:
