What are you up to?

Yeah, well, what the title says... I'd just like to know, what projects you're currently working on... only if it's not top secret, of course. ;)

Still hard at work on 'The Aurora Affair', started a complete (well, almost complete) re-write a couple of months ago. So far 'Episode One' is looking pretty damn good, setting up the mission scenes before moving onto peripheral missions, then the main story line.

Can't say too much more at the mo, but I'm looking at trying to break away from the 'strict, linear, must complete the misison to proceed' style of the original game.

Anyone here interested in a little voice acting at a later date?

Ha, only if you're looking for bad German accents and crappy audio quality ;)

well, you can count on me on the voice acting, that's for sure.

And about the project thing, I'm currently working on making a demo Stargate: War Begins Campaign, using the already done missions but with Nexus' campaign (it'll be linear and a bit short, but from there on we will start formally the development of the main campaign.

This forum looks quite a bit more active then the one on KeysWow.com. ;)

I started a topic there if interest exists in a small project to rename astronomical descriptions in Nexus.
Could be useful to make the solar systems less generic, or more up-to-date with todays extrasolar knowledge.

Perhaps I should move the subject to here if it is a wanted adjustment.

Hi there Geo,

Long time no read  :D

I believe mirroring the thread here would be a productive move as the Keyswow forum has something of a checkered history recently and has lost a lot of it's regular foot traffic.

I'd certainly be interested in updating Nexus in ways like this.

Since this is the thread I found closest to your mods itself, Old Dragon, I'm asking it here.

Is there a feedback thread/location for Redemption somewhere?
It's because I tried your demo mission last night, and wanted to tell some things about it.

Hi there Geo,

There was something in the old keyswow forum (before it fell over for christmas) I think, or the comments section of the ModDb download itself. But nothing here, if Arparso doesn't mind me subverting his forums for devious ends though, I think starting up a dedicated thread would be quite helpfull.

Now Redemption... heck that was a while ago. Since then N:TAA has begun quite a trasmutaion (some of my earlier scripts were not particularly good to say the least),  though I'd still like to hear any comments or thoughts about the mission.  You can always email me draconicdreams@hotmail.co.uk if you don't want to wait while I see about setting up a dedicated thread somewhere, I can always post your views then so they're up for discussion..

Im working on my mod "The Raptor War" Since I believe raptors were REALLY left out in the major part of the campaign, they only had like 2 missions for them and I found them interesting. It centers on Captain Marvin J. Orphelia's rebellion against Vardrag-NDF forces for the right of self-government. There are also skirmishes with the Gorgs because your basically pushing them out of their lands (Herlas, Rhegatis and that other one)

I'm trying to find the names of the people who made some of the content i used, so I can release my mod to the public.

Can you tell us whose work you've included? Someone here may be able to point you in the right direction.

Working with the team on Nexus: Battlestar Galactica. Doing a lot of new models, textures, particles and such. We just launched beta 4 if you care to check it out on moddb.
I modeled & textured a new basestar, galactica, columbia and am about 80% done with the texture work on the Pegasus (modeled by Marchello). Also working on new explosion sprites and animations.

Spacetech Reprise for one.

Universe Conflicts also.

Nothing major, mostly just effects which I fail at making

I believe Electric Monk did 'SpaceTech Reprise', No idea how to contact him unfortunately.
Here is the 'New Conflicts' website, hopefully it'll help you out.
