Mod Development / Released Mods / Halo: Fleet Command needs you!!
« on: March 15, 2011, 19:55:39 »
Hello people,

Its been a while since I've been here. For those who don't know me; I'm Abyssinian from the Halo: Fleet Command mod for Nexus. I've been creating this mod by myself for ages now and I'm nearing the end of all the modeling work. (just 16 more to go ... for now) I find myself however, with less and less spare time for modeling due to school. Now I've just completed a couple of things with which I can do an update this weekend, but it won't be that much and it's been a while since the last update.

So, my question to you all is, would any of you be interested in helping out a little? Or do you know anybody who would be? With any modding side really. Hardpointing, scripting, audio, mission editing and even modeling would be cool. It doesn't have to be a full commitment, but just some small stuff would already be greatly appreciated.

Don't worry If I can't find anybody, I will continue this mod, but progress will just be really slow and I would very much like to see this released as soon as possible of course.

Again, if you're interested please let me know something. The best way would probably be through moddb as I check it several times each day :P http://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-fleet-command

One more thing; if you can't help out with modding, be sure to keep an eye out for my mod anyway. I always read comments and I value feedback so feel free to post comments!!

Thanks for your time,
Abyssinian

Abyssinian/ Halo: Fleet Command signing in. For me weekends will be best I think though I'm not sure which timezone everyone else will be in.

I can help with that. You'll indeed need to use Lightwave to export it. What I do is build my model and texture it in 3ds max and then export it to Lightwave to add hardpoints there. After the hardpoints have been added you can export it and use it in Nexus. I only just registered to this forum so I'm not sure but if you can, send me a PM and we'll talk about this more. Perhaps I can do the hardpointing and exporting for you.
