I haven't tested it yet. But from what I saw of it, very unlikely. I'm more interested in the model itself. Getting it to only use a single texture will be for the best. But I feel I'm going to struggle with it, so I kinda have put it off.

And after having a look at the stiletto and texture, I'm dreading doing a lot of the things I wanted to do.

Modern versions of lightwave (and some other third party programs) now have integrated tools to make the process easier, managed to make a quick UV map for Phobos in about five minutes - not sure how easy it would be to create a texture for it though...

Problem with the ingame Phobos is that they've cut out the top and bottom section from the main model. I've put it back together, but whatever I do the UV cords remain. And my better Phobos texture gets cut off. I'd like to have a look at this new UV texture of yours ;)

It's the map coordinates for how the texture is shown on a 3d object. And it's a headache doing it right, at least for me

Both yes and no. It has a seam in the texture. It doesn't show the same tear as I'm getting from the other one.

Yeah, I did as you suggested. and the mesh loaded fine. Still the problem with a seam there. But that seems to be the mesh fault rather than texture :-\

I noticed that too on my reversed Mars texture.

Have you tried using your texture on jstubbles sphere mesh (battlestar galactica mod, version 4.1-4.5 I believe) to see if the seem disappears?

Don't have that mesh, and I havent seen a galactica mod in ages. I tried going over in both 3d max and mudbox. Also made sure the seam was seamless

I've also taken a look at and started to add Russian language. Until I realized that Windows 10 doesn't like Cyrillic in ANSI format. And Nexus doesn't like Unicode. So until Microsoft fixes that. I'm suspending the Cyrillic language addition
