Topic for discussion about Nexus propaganda. Give ideas and suggestions and show how you are giving people know about Nexus! Do not forget people, if people are not aware that we are here, they can't play our mods and contribute.
Well, what I have for propaganda. I'm going to use my new status of redactor/reviewer of Herniweb.cz (Czech internet game magazine) to promote every top mod release. Also, I'm going to retroactively post something about Freespace mod release soon. I would be really happy if Arparso could give me some info about next release, maybe about ships, improvements or approximate release date.

I've tried slipping Nexus video links and stuff into popular Youtube video comments and posted about it on Digg several times, but nothing "good" seems to come of it. I've got a few of my personal friends to buy the game, but that's about it =\

Ahh, just saw this now - thanks for the news article about Freespace mod, Dreamor ;)
As for the propaganda - yeah, that's tricky. I'm not really participating in the whole Facebook/Twitter/blog craze, so it's hard to actually reach people outside of the folks, who already know what to look for. I've tried to talk about the game in a couple of forums over the years, but never got much response to that.
It certainly doesn't help, that the game is now about 7 years old (wow, really?). Puts off quite some people to deal with such old games.
... hmm ... maybe we should try to get Good Old Games (http://www.gog.com/) to release Nexus on their site - would be in good company with the likes of Freespace and I-War and might push the popularity a bit. :)

Arparso, could you go throught your forum messages here? I have addressed you with a small thing that has to do a lot with propaganda.
