General Discussion / Re: Question about the GUI
« on: September 08, 2011, 10:51:21 »
Yes ... not too long after my post it hit me like a spacestation and i found it out myself. Hell, all the time i thought it was some additional information about the status of teh weapon ... like C for Charging, A for Auto, ...

Too bad that there's no solutin for the second part.

Thank you very much though!

General Discussion / Question about the GUI
« on: September 07, 2011, 16:21:13 »
Hi!
I'm quit suprised to find a active forum about that game ... might be because of a recent steam-sale i heard?

I have the original version from when it was released and decided i want to play it again. But there's one thing i keep wondering:

1. The Manual Panel (activating weapons, shields, etc manually):
What i found in the manual:
Quote
Weapons
• If the weapon is inactive
The left button will activate the weapon and set it to await target. The weapon
starts to charge and its name starts flashing.
• If the weapon is active but without target (charged and not flashing)
The left button will activate aiming, i.e. the weapon’s name starts flashing and
the weapon remains charged.
The right mouse button switches the weapon off.
• If the weapon is active and is waiting for a target (charged and flashing)
The left button turns aiming off, but the weapon remains charged.
The right mouse button switches the weapon off.
• If the weapon is active and has a target (firing)
The left button will activate aiming, but the weapon will keep firing at the original
target until given a new one.
The right mouse button deletes the target, but the weapon stays charged.

Now there are also some letters beneath the weapons, like C , L , K , A ... what do they mean?

2. I ofc use the widescreen-option. Is there any way to fix the miss-aligned/proportioned briefing-menue?

Thanks in advance!
