Nexus hits gog.com!

(1/1)

Arparso:
Nice one. "Nexus - The Jupiter Incident" was just re-released on gog.com, a service hosting a lot of gaming jewels from times long ago. Among them classics like the Wing Commander series, Master of Orion, Dungeon Keeper or the Freespace games (all worth checking out, btw).

Nexus @ gog.com

As usual, it's a DRM-free copy and comes with a few goodies such as wallpapers, artwork and a soundtrack. Also, for us EU folks, it's slightly cheaper than on Steam: $9.99 on gog vs. 9.99€ on Steam.

GeoModder:
Ah, more exposure!

On the $ vs € price tag. I hope there's no hidden creditcard fee involved because of the currency change? If so, Euro customers could wind up paying more then expected.

Arparso:
Depends on your credit card company, I guess. PayPal takes some fees for currency conversion as well...

In my experience these fees are usually much less than the money you save, though. ;)

martiz:
Hello guys and comrades,

in case nobody noticed:
GOG.com offers a discount of 60% to anyone buying our beloved name-saken game for less than 24 hours.
Go and grab it while it's hot!

Arparso:
Huh, they even have a "Mod spotlight" for Nexus:

Surprisingly no mention of the huge Stargate or Star Trek mods. But my own little Freespace mod which I haven't updated for ages is there... guess, because they also offer the Freespace games on GOG and want a few additional sales... ;)

For that price I'm actually tempted to buy the game again - although that'd be my third copy after the retail and Steam versions :)
