New to the game,have a few questions

Hi guys i am new to nexus game,i just bought the game from steam,i just have a few questions
1:Can someone please tell me how i change the field of view?i have looked for the file  universe\engine\rendering.ini but i cannot find it
2:does the game use directx x9 if so how do i enable it
3:Is there a grapics mod for the game?as the rocks in space look weard on my game

1: I'm not sure on that one.
2: The game will automatically run in Dx9 if your computer supports it.
3: There's a few graphics mods out there, like Mine for example, though it only supports mods right now as I haven't had time to pack it into a DAP. I would look around over Here.

On the first question, you can only adjust the settings of rendering.ini if you have extracted the Nexus_00.dat file with a program like DaTool or Arparso's variant.
