Secrets of the Editor, and Modeling programs....
« on: September 29, 2011, 01:00:55 »
Firstly, i wanted to know if anyone has found any other secrets that the nexus editors (BOTH OF THEM) have hidden.

second off... i wanted to know a bit more about the modelling programs before i considered getting one...

1- what is the best 3d modelling tool if you dont want to spend any money on it and is easy to use?

2- where can you get it?

Epic win = when bullets dodge YOU.

Nothing can contend with that. Unless if you can travel through time and space.

Hi Small Time Modder,

Check the NexusWiki for information on the editors...

http://nexusthegame.net/wiki/Nexus_-_The_Jupiter_Incident

With regards to modelling. You can use which ever modelling program you prefer as long as it can then export your files in .lwo/.lws (Lightwave) format. Unfortunately, there is a catch. You will need a copy of lightwave to add the ships hardpoints (turrets, engines, device placings, etc). This is the only format that the nexus converter accepts, I'm afraid.
