I've seen this happen in multiplayer.
Its momentary and depends on the orientation of the camera.

I'm running nexus at 1920x800 using nexus launcher

Any suggestions?

Edit: The problem went away when I disabled planet atmosphere's using the launcher config. Could anyone confirm this and is there a work around to include planet atmosphere's?

Looks like your graphics card has problems with certain effects. Have you tried updating your drivers?

I updated the driver, no effect.

Did the game ran well at 1024x768?

The bug is present at 1024x768 also.
It disappears if I disable planet atmosphere's in the config menu.
Also I haven't seen it in the single player missions.
