Thank you for downloading my little mod project for Nexus. It's nothing impressive,
but may give you some clues about how scripting in Nexus works. Have fun! ;)


Contents:
---------

- custom build star system (Ganymed)
- two custom build missions ("Distress signal" and "Fleet engagement")
- a lightly modified tacticstypes.ini*

* this file was included, because the default tacticstypes.ini wasn't sufficient for
this mod's needs. With the new tacticstypes.ini the Oldschool Human ships can carry
an IP drive, which they couldn't with the default tacticstypes.ini


Installation:
-------------

Easy thing! Just extract this archive's contents into your \mods\ folder of your
Nexus installation. After the extraction you should find a "SAMPLE MOD by Arparso"
folder inside your \mods\ folder.


Starting the mod:
-----------------

Start nexus.exe or the link on your desktop (or start menu). Open up the
"Modifications" menu and select "SAMPLE MOD by Arparso". The game will now start
and bring you to the mission selection screen. Choose one of the two missions and
start playing ;)


Known bugs:
-----------

The ending of the mission doesn't work right. It appears to be a problem with
Nexus itself and not the mission script. Instead of displaying a results screen,
Nexus simply displays the game's outro, if you win the mission.

I don't know any workaround for this. The upcoming patch may fix this problem.
